Community Harvest SRQ and Vacation Donations Drop-off  Bin

Community Harvest SRQ (Transition Sarasota) is a nonprofit organization committed to community-driven solutions for its local food system. Siesta Key is a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico, southwest from Sarasota. It's famous for its sandy beaches and hosts many tourists throughout the year. Community Harvest will donate the food to local pantries.

Accepted donation items

Food: Unopened, non-perishable food like soup, canned fruit, canned vegetables, cereal, rice, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, jelly, baby food

Paper goods: Paper towels, toilet paper, foil, diapers, etc.

Please place all your items in bags

Not accepted

Anything that has been opened. Anything perishable, including produce, bread, cheese, milk, meat, fish

Place all donations in a bag.

4615 Gleason Avenue, Siesta Key (Sarasota), FL 34242

24-hour drop-off bin available. Go up the ramp to the Administration office, turn left, and the bin is in the covered area with fans. It has Community Harvest SRQ logos on the top.
