Indian Rocks Beach Library and beach boxes

Indian Rocks Beach is lucky enough to have its own library, and it’s a charmer. It’s staffed by a full-time librarian and more than a dozen helpful community volunteers.

Visitors staying at IRB can apply for a membership card for $25 a year (membership is free for residents and property owners). Visitors can also shop at the library’s heavily discounted used bookstore.

How to donate
The library accepts current fiction and nonfiction books in paperback and hardback that have been gently used.

If you have multiple books to donate, please take them to the library during operating hours. Otherwise you can drop off a book or two at one of the library’s four “Take-a-Book, Leave-a-Book” boxes.

Boxes are located in front of City Hall (next to the library) in the “book boat,” and also near the beach entrances at the beach access parking areas at 4th Ave., 12th Ave. and 22nd Ave.
