This week we delivered a Vacation Donations bin to Coquina Cove Resort, a charming 6-unit motel at 610 Second St in Indian Rocks Beach. That’s me, founder Diane Daniel, sporting my nifty bin, with laminated labels and a swing top. Many thanks to owner Annie for letting us see how it goes at her sweet motel. We’ll be in charge of picking up any donated food. Also, guests can call us to have perishables picked up.
We’ve also posted fliers around town and on social media offering to pick up food from vacationers during high tourist season, January through mid-April. Several people have taken us up on this, thereby increasing our food donations to area pantries. Win-win!
